On Saturday, June 14, 2013, Teresa and I went to the opening day of the Colorado State Renaissance Festival. Luckily for us, it was located only 15 or so miles north of the academy. It will run all weekend, every weekend thru the summer.

The people who work and run the fair are all in costume, and so are probably 40% of the guests who come to see it.

Each weekend there is a different theme, which makes going to the fair several times over the summer a different experience....

This was there 37th year, and the location is fixed on several hundred acres, with large impressive buildings for shops, food and entertainment.

There were hundreds of shops, displays, and lots of street and outdoor theater performances.

Enough with the dialogue...just enjoy the pictures...:)
